We'll ask a few brief questions to understand your situation and confirm we're the right service for you. We aim to respond to all enquiries within one working day.
A qualified, specialist occupational therapist will conduct a thorough assessment — typically at your home, but clinic and remote options are also available. The assessment explores your daily functioning, activities that matter to you, environment, and any barriers you face. This usually takes 60–90 minutes and is conducted in a relaxed, conversational style.
Together with you (and your family or carer if appropriate), we develop a personalised plan with clear, achievable goals. These goals are based entirely on what matters most to you — whether that's being able to cook independently, return to work, manage pain, or feel safe at home. Goals are reviewed and adjusted throughout our work together.
Tailored therapy sessions and practical interventions are delivered at a pace that works for you. This may include hands-on therapy, equipment recommendations, home adaptations, training for carers, written guidance, or liaison with other professionals. All interventions are evidence-based and regularly reviewed for effectiveness.
We conduct regular reviews to measure progress against your goals, celebrate achievements, and adjust our approach as your needs evolve. When our work together is complete, we provide a clear discharge summary and ensure appropriate onward referrals are in place.
