Our Referral Process

What Happens After You Refer

We have a clear, transparent referral pathway. Here's exactly what to expect:

Submit Referral

Complete our online referral form, call us, or email referrals@optimahealthsolutions.co.uk with client details and reason for referral.

Acknowledgement (Same Day)

We confirm receipt of your referral and allocate a named therapist within one working day.

Client Contact (Within 3 Days)

Your allocated therapist contacts the client directly to introduce themselves and arrange an appointment.

Assessment (Within 5–10 Working Days)

A comprehensive OT assessment takes place at the client's home, clinic, or another agreed venue.

Report Delivered

A detailed, clinically robust written report is sent to you within the agreed timeframe (typically 5 working days post-assessment).

What We Need From You

To process your referral quickly and ensure the right therapist is allocated, please provide:

  • Client's full name and date of birth
  • Client's address and contact details
  • Primary diagnosis or reason for referral
  • Your contact details and role
  • Any known risks or safeguarding concerns
  • Urgency of the referral
  • Funding source (self-pay, insurer, local authority etc.)
  • Any specific outcomes or reports required
